Strategic Areas of Focus
The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Economic Development Office collaborates with its 10 member municipalities in the delivery of regional economic development and collaborates with its three partner municipalities in areas of mutual interest.
The Leeds Grenville Economic Development Office acknowledges individual municipal economic priorities and works strategically to develop programs and opportunities that bring benefit to the entire region.
The Economic Development program is flexible and able to quickly react and address decisions and phenomena that impacts the local and / or regional economy such as the recent pandemic. The Office will respond promptly to new investment and funding opportunities that supports the strategic areas of focus.
In 2019, a Business Retention and Expansion Report was completed and helped shape the 5-year Strategic Areas of Focus:
