Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI)
The Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot program is part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and supports Leeds Grenville Economic Development focus on workforce development and talent attraction.
For 2025, 200 nomination spaces from the OINP’s Employer Job Offer streams are allocated to Leeds Grenville. These nominations are for applicants with job offers within the Leeds Grenville geographic boundaries. Also see Counties Map. The REDI program provides a pathway for Leeds Grenville through following Employer Job Offer Streams, there are no additional criteria or a separate application process for the pilot.
Foreign Worker stream
The job offer must be in a skilled occupation at TEER category 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). The applicant must show that they are qualified for the position by demonstrating they have work experience in the same occupation as the job offer or are licensed or authorized to do the work where the occupation of the job offer is regulated in Ontario.
International Student stream
The job offer must be in a skilled occupation at TEER category 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). The applicant must have a degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible Canadian institution that has been completed within two years of submitting their application.
In-Demand Skills stream
The job offer must be in an eligible occupation at TEER category 4 or 5 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). The applicant must have work experience in Ontario in the same occupation as the job offer and have the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma and language skills in English and/or French.
Currently working in Leeds Grenville
If your position is full-time and permanent, you may be eligible under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Review the website to see which stream of the OINP you will be eligible for. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville are opening a new long-term care facility in August 2025. Positions currently open can be found listed on the Counties careers webpage.
