City of Brockville
The City of 1000 Islands is a vibrant riverside community. Tourists from around the world come to boat, fish, sail, camp, hike, cycle and golf. The Brockville Country Club and Highland Golf Course are on the edge of the city and another 35 courses are within a one-hour drive. Brockville is also known for its access to top-notch scuba diving in the St. Lawrence River. It is home to Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing, a 27,000-square-foot, interactive learning and discovery centre on the shore of the St. Lawrence River.
Brockville is home to many international companies, including food processing, pharmaceuticals and logistics operations. It has two industrial parks: John G. Broome Business Park and the Western Industrial Park. This city is situated on Highway 401 on the main rail line and located in between two international bridges to the U.S.
