Counties businesses feeling upbeat

Business owners are upbeat about the future of Leeds and Grenville with 40 per cent saying they would be expanding during the next 18 months.
Those expansion plans are forecast to create 349 new jobs and increase commercial and industrial floor space by 139,390 square feet, according to a Business Expansion and Retention study of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.
The survey of counties’ businesses found that another 48 per cent of the companies plan on keeping their business at the status quo while only 13 per cent predict that they will be downsizing, relocating, selling or closing. Read the full story here.
